Our Story
We believe everyone deserves a day on Lake Norman
PontoonPros of Lake Norman was founded in 2022. Due to owner retirement, we acquired the business in 2025 and keep the same philosophy: Providing the best possible experience for people to enjoy Lake Norman with premium boats, no surprise fees, and real, local people enhancing the experience.
Boat ownership and boat clubs can be extremely expensive. Renting a boat a few times a summer can provide the same amazing lake days at fraction of the cost without the headaches of maintenance, storage or membership fees.
Lake Norman is our home and backyard. We boat here every chance we get, and we genuinely care that your time on the water is as good as ours.

CO-OWNER | BOOKINGS & GUEST EXPERIENCE
Originally from Maryland, Mooresville has been home for Kelly since 2021 after 4 years at UNCW. She's the heart of the operations - making sure every customer feels taken care of from the moment they book to the moment they're back at the dock. If you've ever gotten a helpful text from a hot spot recommendation, that's Kelly. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty - reupholstering seats is a secret skill of hers!
Alex
CO-OWNER | OPERATIONS & FLEET MAINTENANCE
Alex was born in NY but grew up in the LKN area since he was 5. He's spent a lot of this life on the water - boating from a young age and working at local marinas during school. He makes sure every rental runs flawlessly. His background running a mobile brake repair business means nothing gets overlooked when it comes to keeping the boats in top shape and most importantly, safe.
