Two very different days on the water
Ask us for a recommendation and you'll get two completely different answers - but both awesome days on the lake! Here's how we'd spend our ideal day on Lake Norman
Alex would spend every day a little differently out on the water. While his favorite thing is spending time with Kelly, he loves to be involved in any water sport — water tubing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, wakesurfing — the list goes on and on. He also loves anchoring the boat and going for a swim, or spending time throwing a ball or frisbee on a nearby island with friends.
Kelly's ideal day starts by getting out on the water just in time to pick up lunch at the Blue Parrot — a crabcake sandwich and pasta salad. Then she heads to a quiet, shady cove for a nap on one of the float mats (with plenty of sunscreen). After that, she loves drifting over toward the Lake Norman Airpark cove to watch planes take off and land. The day ends with a sunset cruise back to the dock, just in time for dinner.
